ASTHMA RELIEF

A study by the well-regarded The New England Journal of Medicine debunks a common misperception that a home with carpeting leads to a higher level of allergens in children relative to one with a hard surface. Furthermore – and not surprisingly – the Inner-City Asthma Study found that allergy preponderance decreased with a cleaner environment and less tobacco smoke. These results support the long held beliefs of the carpet industry that carpeting does not increase allergy symptoms or decrease indoor air quality and the benefits to frequent cleaning are many fold.
